We were delighted to see this glowing endorsement of our best-selling natural Tissue Oil from none other than Jo Fairley and her team at the Beauty Bible.

This is from a South African range created by a South African former beauty editor, Sarah Hetherington, and her entrepreneur husband, Rob Tiffin. And while it may only just have appeared on our radar, it's HUGE in South Africa.

The range's USP is that it's enriched with bio-active rooibos extract which – like many tea derivatives – is very rich in antioxidants. Red bush tea is of course renowned for its health-giving benefits – although usually, we drink it rather than slather it on.

The list of tasks this African Extracts Rooibos Multi-Purpose Tissue Oil performs is impressive: it targets dry and dehydrated skin, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skintone, scars and blemishes, dry cuticles and brittle nails, dry scalp and lifeless hair – and, they note, it's great for braids and dreadlocks. Us? We've been slathering it on papery-dry body skin and especially hands and nails, before bedtime. (Everything's more than a tad dessicated, right now.)

With a hint of geranium and rosemary scent to it (from natural botanical extracts), this also features vitamin E, soya, grapeseed and sweet almond oils in a non-greasy formula (and the oil proves that's really not a contradiction in terms).

We think this will truly come into its own in the holiday season when we're all looking for products that multi-task brilliantly. Meanwhile, this is just GREAT for seriously dry winter skin and hair (and a bit of a bargain, with it).

Slurp, slurp, slurp.
